Full Moon Festival will return to Governors Island on Saturday, July 8 for the 7th consecutive year, transforming the New York island's southern ballfields into a beachside party filled with music, art, food and more.

Divided between two stages, top scheduled performers include Chicago-based rapper Vic Mensa, Hallucinogen crooner Kelela and Awful Records' ABRA. Larry Heard, best known as Mr. Fingers, will also take Full Moon's main stage, marking the house pioneer's first time playing for NYC in nearly a decade.
The independent boutique festival is split in two parts: Full Moon by Day on Governors Island and Full Moon by Night in an industrial undisclosed Brooklyn location. Promised to capture NYC's creative youth, Full Moon offers a more intimate presentation than its contemporaries by selecting a smart, cohesive lineup and well-designed visual experience.
Past Full Moon headliners have included SBTRKT, Santigold, Pusha T, Yelle and Kiesza.
Tickets for Full Moon Festival are available online, with $1 of every ticket promised to go directly to the Natural Areas Conservancy, a NYC non-profit, to plant trees around the New York area. More information, below.
