Rising Los Angeles outfit HIPS is celebrating the city's rich LGBTQ community through LEFTI's "Get Up" remix, featuring a music video produced almost entirely by a queer crew.
Described as "a protest in the form of pleasure," the visual highlights queer romance on the dance floor, packed with lewks for days and choreography by Banks collaborator Nadine Olmo.
"Get Up" is directed by Drew Denny and Sarah Kaplan, and notably stars Brendan Cameron (of LA-based performance group GURTS), renowned dancer Raymond Ejiofor and the exquisite Clarys Biagi. Watch HIPS' "Get Up," below.
