Is Katy Perry's 'Swish Swish' a Taylor Swift Diss?

Katy Perry, Witness

"Swish, swish bish."

Katy Perry is doing her due diligence ramping up interest for her new album, Witness. Hot on the heels of lead singles "Chained to the Rhythm" and "Bon Appetit," Perry released a new track today, called "Swish Swish," featuring Nicki Minaj.

Heralded by the Internet as Perry's Taylor Swift diss track in response to "Bad Blood" off 1989, "Swish Swish" opens with:

A tiger / Don't lose no sleep / Don't need opinions / From a shellfish or a sheep / Don't come for me / No not today

When asked, Perry said that no one song on the album was about any one person, which checks out with "Swish Swish" because part of Minaj's guest verse circles back to her infamous Remy Ma beef. Ruby Rose, who's a part of Swift's inner squad, even made it a point to call out Perry on Twitter for her Witness singles:
