Superfruit Drops 'Bad 4 Us' Video, Featuring Betty Who

Superfruit

A campy, power-pop spectacle.

Lifted off their impressive breakout EP, Future Friends, queer power-pop duo Superfruit shared today the music video for "Bad 4 Us," and it's a dazzling '70s-inspired spectacle. Pentatonix performers Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying wear vintage prom suits, as they work through campy choreography and fling tongue-in-cheek lyrics like, "Put on some old school Britney."

Superfruit's colorful "Bad 4 Us" visual features a number of joyous dancing friends, including the duo's personal friend and professional collaborator Betty Who. Her spirited cameo is fitting, considering Superfruit appears on her sophomore album, The Valley, singing verses together on queer highlight, "Beautiful."

Talking with Who this spring, the pop star said their collaboration was initially inspired by the Pulse nightclub shooting, but ultimately became an anthem about "self doubt and bouts of depression and confusion." Above glistening synthesizers, they all repeat the affirming line, "Do you feel beautiful? (Hell yeah) Cause you look beautiful, tonight."
