Queer New York-based rapper Dick Van Dick is gearing up to release his debut studio album, Chosen Trade, off Doom Dab on July 28. The breakout project's lead single, "Nexxx Time," out today, was produced by Montreal's fallennwall and picks up where DVD left off on his sexually charged buzz track, "Pony Rider."

Above a woozy, atmospheric instrumental, DVD unleashes cocky lyrics: "He wasn't ready for the slaughta, or the BCALLA or the Eckhaus Latta," he says, referencing key queer designers, before reminding listeners, "I'm Dick, I'm a fun-loving guy and I love cumming in a dumb nigga's eye / angry pirate, now he's in an eye patch / well nexxx time you pitch, I catch."
The track is about normalizing homosensuality the way heterosensuality has been the norm since "time immemorial," DVD told OUT. "I want straight boys singing along to hardcore gay imagery the way we have been signing along to their straight bullshit. I want to empower bottomhood, femmes, and all the faggots out here who can't be masc for masc."
DVD's Chosen Trade album release party will take place at Home Sweet Home on July 29, featuring live performances and exclusive tees designed in collaboration with illustrator Bob Plissken. RSVP here if you're "ready for the slaughta," and listen to the OUT premiere of DVD's "Nexxx Time," below:
