After teasing her follow-up album to 2015's post-divorce epic, Vulnicura, Bjork has announced the lead single's title, "The Gate." The forthcoming LP has previously been described as her "Tinder Album," and reportedly "feels lighter than air," according to Dazed. "It feels like the weight of Vulnicura has been lifted."
On a listing page for the vinyl, out Sept. 22 on One Little Indian, Bjork describes "The Gate" as a love song. "But I say 'love' in a more transcendent way," she writes. "Vulnicura was about a very personal loss, and I think this new album is about a love that's even greater. It's about rediscovering love--but in a spiritual way, for lack of a better word."

While the themes on her new album will certainly shift from Vulnicura, Bjork has recruited longtime collaborator Arca to co-produce the effort. With his twisted, romantic take on electronic music, the two are an ideal outsider match, previously joining forces on key Bjork tracks, like "Lionsong" and "Black Lake."
