There may be nobody on earth who is as fabulously strange as John Waters. The director, comedian, journalist, and self-described Pope of Trash has made a career out of his wild behavior, he's made classic films like Pink Flamingos and Hairspray, and now, he's just released a new album.

The 12-track long album Make Trouble (also the name of his latest book) features the artist's viral commencement speech he gave at the Rhode Island School of Design in 2015, as well as several stories from throughout his life. In the speech he gave at RISD, he famously told graduates: ""Go out in the world and fuck it up beautifully. Design clothes so hideous that they can't be worn ironically. Horrify us with new ideas. Outrage outdated critics. Use technology for transgression, not lazy social living. Make me nervous!"
The entire album has no instruments and is essentially just 12 tracks of John Waters talking about his life, but that's okay. We're down to settle in and listen to Waters talk about getting caught with pot at NYU, finding inspiration as a kid at sexploitation double features, and meeting evil nuns.
