Rising rapper Lizzo has dropped a brand new single, "Truth Hurts," which she teased with her VMAs dress earlier this month:
The track is a certified banger, and features powerful lines like, "Don't text me, tell it straight to my face," and, "I put the sing in single." Lizzo is a rising musician originally from Minneapolis, who's lately collaborated extensively with queer artist Brooke Candy. For "Truth Hurts," she co-wrote the song with queer hitmaker Jesse Saint John (Britney Spears, Erika Jayne).

"Truth Hurts" follows the recent release of Lizzo's "Water Me," the empowering anthem she dropped last month. It's also highly important to take into consideration "Water Me"'s single art. Watch the video, below, notably styled by Candy.
