Lorde threw it back to the '80s in BBC's Live Lounge.
Lorde's Melodrama World Tour has brought her to England, where she stopped by the BBC's Live Lounge to perform a few songs for British radio listeners. Naturally, she performed a stripped-down "Green Light," but she also performed a cover of Phil Collins' hit song, "In The Air Tonight."
Lorde has long cited Collins as a major influence for her on creating Melodrama. In a recent interview on Marc Maron's podcast "WTF," she explained what draws her to certain male artists: "My favorite pop males are the guys that sound like a combination of your boyfriend and your dad. That's Phil."
