Troye Sivan's 'The Good Side' is a Sweet, Stripped Down Ode to Love

The singer will perform on Saturday Night Live this Saturday and take over the world soon after.

Troye Sivan is trying to kill us. Mere days after dropping the video for "My My My," the queer musician is back with another new song called "The Good Side." We're not even over the slick, sensual music video, yet!

Luckily, the new track is vastly different from the dance-heavy "My My My." Backed by a guitar and stripped down vocals, "The Good Side" sounds like the morning after to the previous single's club banger production. It's the kind of song you'll play with your lover in the morning--or your cat. We don't judge.

It also marks the second happy song Troye has released, which owes in part to his boyfriend/model Jacob Bixenman, who he said he's "super super in love with." We're pretty sure that's Bixenman on the cover for "The Good Side," too. "I've got the good side of things," he sings. "I found arms to fall right in to."

Anyways, let's all agree that 2018 is going to be the year of Troye Sivan. He's just been picked by designer Pierpaolo Piccioli to be the face of the Valentino Spring 2018 menswear advertising campaign and, on Saturday night, he'll be performing "My My My" and "The Good Side" on Saturday Night Live.
