In the most important and homosexual news of the year (besides Big Little Lies) we have learned that Carly Rae Jepsen wrote songs with Troye Sivan during the creation of his sophomore album.
The news is crucial, as the melding of two energy sources as powerful as, say, My My My! and Run Away With Me could result in a burst of light and joy so powerful it makes the villainous politicans of our world crumble, sort of like how that one guy melts into a pile of dust at the end of Indiana Jones.
Speaking to PopBuzz, Sivan revealed that he and Jepsen had worked together in the process of creating his new album, though it doesn't appear certain that any of their tracks together made the final cut for the record.

"For this album, we wrote and it just never, like...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't," he said. "We wrote a really cute song...you end up writing 50 songs for an album when you wanna pick 10 so sometimes they just don't make it."
So it may not appear on the forthcoming record, but to Sivan we must now make a loud and clear plea: release your Jepsen collab as a standalone single. The political future of this planet depends upon it.
