Janelle Monáe Dropped Two New Music Videos And We Are Shook

After teasing the possibility of new music for months, Janelle Monae is finally back with not one but two music videos and we are shook. Honestly, my wig is in a parallel dimension.

The first video for Monae's new single "Make Me Feel" has the artists coming hard for Grace Jones' gig and we are living! The video features Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson, who Monae has been spotted with quite a bit recently and is rumored to be dating. In the video, they get very cozy -- at one point, Monae grinds between Thompson and a very hot man. Is this Monae coming out as gay, or at least bisexual?

In an interview with Zane Lowe, Monae chatted about how her upcoming album Dirty Computer is her most honest yet. While she doesn't specifically reference her sexuality, she definitely alludes to her new honesty.

"You know what I'm going to be 100 percent honest, I'm scared. I'm actually terrified. I mean yeah it's such an honest body of work and I don't know how people are going to react to it, Zane. I really, I don't know. Just the thought of it is kind of freaking me out a little bit but I feel like it's something that I need to do. It's something that I always knew I needed to do and it's going to happen. The album is going to happen, it's coming. You know all I can say is at least I've been very honest. That's all I can really do as an artist."

The other video Monae released, "Django Jane," is a powerful ode to black femmes.
