Kesha Officiated a Lesbian Wedding While Covering a Janis Joplin Song

kesha

Kesha turned Joplin's "I Need a Man to Love Me" into a same-sex bop for Universal Love.

In Kesha's new video for "I Need a Woman to Love Me," the singer marries real-life lesbian couple Dani and Lindsey in Las Vegas. The song is a cover of Janis Joplin's "I Need a Man to Love Me," modified, of course, to make it gayer.

The video intersperses shots of Kesha performing the song and having a good time in the desert with clips of the couple talking about their relationship. It ends in their marriage with Kesha officiating.
