The Year of Queer Music
2020 was a great year for queer music. Some of our old favorites released new music, and some exciting newcomers burst onto the scene. In a world of changes, queer artists had to adapt and get even more creative than usual -- and it shows in the music videos they made.
It was a tough year, but some of our favorite artists like Adam Lambert, Kehlani, Troye Sivan, Lil Nas X, and Miley Cyrus came through with blistering hot videos to keep us entertained while we've been stuck at home.
Here are our picks for the sexiest music videos by queer artists in 2020. Bless them all!
Kehlani's "Can I"
This is my personal favorite video of the year. Kehlani really brought the heat by inviting a diverse lineup of sex workers and cam performers to join her for this video, which is the perfect cure for your pandemic horniness.
Big Dipper's "Back Up Off Me"
Big Dipper is looking big and beautiful with members of LA's and other queer and leather scenes in this video so hot it's age-restricted on YouTube. Bears and bad boys in tight pants don't just dance in this video, they get hot and heavy.
Troye Sivan and Kacey Musgraves's "Easy" ft. Mark Ronson
Troye Sivan is the mulletted twink of our dreams in "Easy."
"Sivan is looking fresh to death in a mullet, and Musgraves has dyed her hair raven-black. It's cinematic, it's sexy, it's perfect," we said about the moody and dreamy video.
Lil Nas X's "Holiday"
Lil Nas X confirmed he's a bottom in this stylish video where he plays several characters, all of them damn sexy, especially his shirtless winter elf Tolay.
Miley Cyrus's "Prisoner" ft. Dua LIpa
Sex is oozing out of every moment in this hot and heavy rock and roll video. When it debuted, we called it "dirty and hot and tons of trashy fun" and wrote "things are already getting steamy when Miley grabs a jar of cherries and soon she looks like she's covered in blood and sweat and sex. What follows is licking, biting, and lots of heavy petting."
John Duff's "Hokie Pokie"
John Duff released several hot videos this year, but his version of the "Hokie Pokie" about rimming takes the cake for the hottest.
We previously wrote that "the video itself is one of those California pool parties we've seen so often. You know, tanned bodies in bathing suits lounging around the pool, playing in the grass, all that sort of fare. There's a few bunny heads, crop tops, a little bit of twerking, and a lot of water splashing."
Rina Sawayama's "XS"
Rina Sawayama is one of the hottest new singers in pop this year, and she's looking excellent in Home Shopping Network Robot realness as she dances in this video.
Keke Palmer's "Virgo Tendancies"
"Cross me once, and it's over," Out100 honoree Keke Palmer promises as a femme fatale in her video for "Virgo Tendancies." She's not the type of woman I'd want to make mad, but getting punished by her doesn't seem so bad.
Victoria Monét's "Moment"
"Fuck a fantasy, it's your mutherfuckin' moment," Monet sings in this song as she makes out with the man of her dreams in this surreal and sexy video with a surprising twist ending.
Adam Lambert's "VELVET"
Damn, Adam Lambert brought the style and the sexy to the title track from his latest project. Not only is Lambert looking incredible in suits throughout the video, but he brought along a cast of stunning queer models to model all of this year's hottest new looks.
Jada Michael's "Freak"
"Don't take your hands off me, girl you know I'm a freak," lesbian singer Jada Michael sings in this song, and we say AMEN. Michael gets up close and personal with model Asianna Scott in this curve-filled video.
Big Freedia's "Better Be" ft. Flo Milli
Big Freedia shows off why she's the Queen Diva in this holiday-themed video villed with shirtless santas, lots of twerking elves and reindeer, and Freedia herself sitting on a throne.
Pabllo Vittar and Thalia's "Tímida"
Pabllo Vitar teamed up with Thalia to bring us this sexy video where Vittar gets to show off her amazing body and killer talent. She really is a superstar and this steamy video shows why.
Solomon Ray ft. MANCANDY- "Llama A Tu Novio"
This Spanish-language bop, which translates to "Call Your Boyfriend," doesn't just feature reggaeton star MANCANDY, but also features plenty of man candy in the video. Get ready to to sweat when you watch.
Black Fairy's "Vogue"
Black Fairy invited dancers Travii Aiko, Sweatpea Ebony, Pusscee West, and Boe Revlon to show off their best hands, catwalks, duckwalks, spins and dips in tihs sleek and stylish black and white video.
Bronze Avery's "Boys"
All of the models and actors in this mostly-shirtless video are queer and beautiful. Bronze Avery is surrounded by boys sunning on the beach, playing volleyball, and getting close. "There's somthin' 'bout boys," indeed.
Sam Smith and Demi Lovato's "I'm Ready"
Sam Smith show's their sexy side as an athlete while Demi is a vixen in a powersuit in this queer duet. Smith and whole room of men dance and wrestle in heels, and reader, it is hot.
Brooke Candy's "Cum"
Dejan Jovanovic directs Brooke Candy's "Cum," which is the ultimate sex song for a quarentined world.
The video stars Paris Hilton, Aquaria, Shea Coulee, Detox, Amanda Lepore, Crystal Methyd, Francois Sagat, Yasmin Petty, and a couple dozen other hotties and cam stars all vamping it up for the camera in costumes and lingerie and sometimes very, very little clothes. We're all for this.
