It's the club bop we can't enjoy in the way we should be able to!
At midnight bisexual icon Lady Gaga and noted ally Ariana Grande dropped their much anticipated track "Rain On Me." Gays stayed up, streamed, cried, over-exaggerated ... you know the gig! The song clearly was meant to be a "bop of the summer" contender with every gay bar from here to Kathmandu putting it in the rotation every hour on the hour. And while we can't have that, we do have the official music video!
The music video is choreography heavy and features the singers among masses of dancers in ... you guessed it ... rain! It's the perfect sort of vibe for say a surprise Coachella set -- too bad that was cancelled. We definitely are going to be requesting this in every Zoom Pride festival we attend this season and learning the steps ASAP.
"Rain On Me" appears on Gaga's upcoming Chromatica album. You know, the one she's selling thongs and jockstraps for -- that one! The project will release in full next week. It is set to also feature a link-up with Elton John, which we are eagerly awaiting. BLACKPINK will also appear on the project.
