As everything has gone digital, a few things have gone by the way side. Obviously, hugs and kisses, but also when it comes to events, production has been nixed too. But if there's one group that has been trying to think outside of the box and give memorable performances its been Chloe x Halle.

Having graduated from the Beyonce School of Pop Stardom (the two are mentored by the megastar) Chloe x Halle have been serving up as much production as possible in their latest tour run. For their set closing out the GLAAD Media Awards they kept up that energy, putting together a Spice Girls inspired girl group featuring RuPaul's Drag Race stars.

Filmed at The Chapel (which is inside of the Los Angeles LGBTQ+ bar The Abbey) the pair perform their single "Do It." Chloe's look took on a Mel B inspiration while Halle went more Victoria Beckham. And what about the rest of the girls? Well, thank god for Vanessa Vanjie Matteo, Naomi Smalls, and Mayhem Miller who played Mel C, Geri Halliwell, and Emma Bunton respectively.

"We are so proud to stand alongside our LGBTQIA+ family at the GLAAD Awards this year," Chloe X Halle wrote to twitter, dubbing the group the "melanated spice girls."

Prior to their closing performance, Shea Diamond performed gave a soulful rendition of her song "I Am America." She was introduced by Demi Lovato. The track was the theme song of the Emmy nominated HBO show We're Here.
