Lil Nas X on stage

The musician is hosting a contest and your art could help inspire his next song.

Lil Nas X fans have been begging for new music from the "Old Town Road" star. He's teased some tracks here and there -- did anyone get the full version of the song with the Call Me By Your Name reference -- but we haven't gotten anything in full. But now, the fans are getting a chance to have input on the creative process via a new contest.

In a partnership with Adobe, the award-winning singer is asking fans to take a shot at designing cover art for his next single. What will the single be about? Well, you decide!

"This is not a drill," Lil Nas X says in a kickoff video for the contest. "This is the official announcement that I'm going to make a song based on your cover art that you're going to make with your official artistic talent. Did I mention that it's going to be extremely official?"

To enter, fans must use an app from the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Fresco are all options) to create their design. The design must then be posted to social media between today and September 30 with the hashtag #LilNasXAdobeContest and tagging @adobegencreate. It also must be posted on the Adobe Gen Create Facebook account in the comments of the post specifically about the contest. (Note: for your submissions to be seen your social accounts have to be set to public.) All details are on the Adobe website.

One winner will not only serve as the inspiration point for Nas's song, but will receive $10,000. Five runners-up will receive a 12-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.

May the odds ever be in your favor.
