Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are returning to the Great American Songbook one last time.
The legendary pair revealed the title, concept, and track list for their second collaborative album, which is said to be Bennett's last of his career. The album will be a Cole Porter tribute, and is titled Love for Sale.
"The day we released Cheek To Cheek in 2014, @itstonybennett called me and asked me if I wanted to record another album with him, this time celebrating the songs of Cole Porter," Gaga wrote on Instagram. "I'm always honored to sing with my friend Tony, so of course I accepted the invitation. Today, I am so excited to announce that our new album Love For Sale will be released October 1."
On the album cover, Bennett is holding a notepad with a sketch of Gaga while she leans over him.
The album features duets between the two artists, as well as solo songs from each artist. While we don't know which songs will be sung by who, the tracklist has been released. The album will feature songs including "It's De-Lovely," "Love For Sale," "Night and Day," "Let's Do It," "Dream Dancing," "I've Got You Under My Skin," and "You're the Top," among others.
For those of us who can't wait until October for the album to come out, MTV is premiering a video for the track "I Get a Kick Out Of You" this Friday at noon ET.
Bennett, who is celebrating his 95th birthday today, and Gaga will be performing two shows at the Radio City Music Hall, one tonight and one on Thursday. The shows are being billed as Bennett's last New York performances.
Back in 2014, the pair first teamed up to release the album Cheek to Cheek, and made history. The album was number one on the Billboard charts, and won a Grammy award, becoming one of the most critically-acclaimed albums of the year. Now that they're teaming up again, we can't wait to see what they do.
Love for Sale will be released on October 1.
