It's time for the Hive to rise up, because Beyonce is back, baby!
After delivering her first trilogy of solo albums - 2003's Dangerously in Love, 2006's B'Day, 2008's I Am... Sasha Fierce - and completely flipping the script on the music industry with her second trinity - 2011's 4, 2013's Beyonce, and 2016's Lemonade - the Queen B is about to drop a brand-new record that will kickstart an entirely new era for her.
All weekend long, Beyonce fans had taken notice that terms like "B7" and "B8" had been floating around on the singer's official website. However, any mention of those supposed titles were erased as the weekend came to an end - prompting eager fans to think that Queen B's team was either joking with them or slowly preparing for an incoming announcement.
On Thursday, June 16, British Vogue released a new Beyonce profile where the singer finally discussed her long-awaited new body of work.
Scroll through to find out everything we know about Beyonce's new album so far.
Beyonce's seventh album is called Renaissance and it will be released on Friday, July 29. On her official website, Beyonce is dubbing the album "Act I" - teasing that this is only the first part of a much larger body of work.
British Vogue writer Edward Enninful got to listen to Beyonce's new music and described it in his profile with the singer:
"Instantly, a wall of sound hits me. Soaring vocals and fierce beats combine and in a split second I'm transported back to the clubs of my youth. I want to get up and start throwing moves. It's music I love to my core. Music that makes you rise, that turns your mind to cultures and subcultures, to our people past and present, music that will unite so many on the dance floor, music that touches your soul. As ever with Beyonce, it is all about the intent. I sit back, after the wave, absorbing it all."
Then, Variety reported that the album will include "both dance and country-leaning tracks."
The exclusive report from Variety also detailed that Beyonce has worked with OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder on Renaissance, who has been a regular collaborator of hers in previous works. Moreover, hitmaker Raphael Saadiq is another person who is reportedly involved in this new Beyonce project.
New merch for Renaissance is already available on Beyonce's official online store for fans to purchase. However, not much is known about the current offerings. There are four box sets titled "pose 1," "pose 2," "pose 3," and "pose 4" - but the difference between those "poses" isn't made clear anywhere on the website.
In any case, these merch sets are described to include a collectible Renaissance box, the album's physical CD, and a branded t-shirt.
