It seems Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association thinks if we had more images of gay sex it would show how unglamorous and negative it is for one's health. In response to the news that Australia is requiring cigarette manufacturers to include images of "cancer-riddled mouths, blinded eyeballs and sickly children" instead of logos on its packaging, Fischer tweeted: "Australia requires graphic photos: what smoking does to human health. Need similar photos re: gay sex." And a link to this Washington Times article.
To further clarify, he followed that up a few minutes later with this:
He was linking to this story on TowleRoad which explained "It's Never Just HIV," a 30-second spot that "informs that those suffering from HIV can also be afflicted with severe osteoporosis, dementia and anal cancer. The goal of the PSA? To increase condom use."
Fischer is known for spouting off. In the wake of the controversy at Penn State over sexual abuse and the cover-up, Fischer proclaimed: "In the wake of what we've just seen at Penn State...that alone ought to be enough to say, 'Look, we are not going to put children in same-sex households!"
