WATCH: NYC Pride's Encouraging Video

Now that Pride month is upon us, we're encouraged to make noise in the name of strength and dignity for the LGBT community.

In honor of the upcoming celebratory events, NYC Pride has released a short video to send a friendly reminder that, while many of the voices in the LGBT community are loud and proud, some all too often still go unheard.

NYC Pride's video, although brief, implores us to "shout for those who couldn't." Watch it below.
