A Puerto-Rican born survivor of the Pulse shooting will be voting for the first time in this year's presidential election.
Ricardo Negron-Almodovar appeared in an ad for the Human Rights Campaign released on the first day of in-person early voting in Florida.
In the ad, in English and Spanish, Negron-Almodovar talks about how important it is for LGBTs to be active politically.
"Every issue that we face has a root in the political level," he says.
