New York police are still looking for the suspect.
Two men were attacked in Chelsea this week by a man yelling anti-gay slurs, police said.
The men, 32 and 28, told the New York Police Department they were attacked early morning Sunday near 14th Street and Eighth Avenue. The attack left one man with a fractured skull and another with an injured hand.
The man fled on Eighth Avenue. The alleged victims described him as between 21 and 30 years old, about 5-foot-11, and 190 pounds.
