The notable CNN anchor won't be supporting Hillary or Bernie.
Speaking to Howard Stern, the CNN anchor shared why he doesn't intend to vote in the New York primary and possibly the general election.
As a reporter, Cooper believes in remaining impartial and unbiased about the topics he covers. Sticking to this stance, Cooper told Stern, "I don't think I'm going to vote... I don't think reporters should vote."
The anchor added:
"A lot of reporters don't vote. It's a thing....I don't want to be influenced one way or another...I believe people should vote but my role is to ask questions."

Cooper had kept his sexuality under wraps for the same reason. Either way, we all should be glad the newsman holds his responsibility as a journalist in such high regard.
