In the wake of yesterday's tragedy, Equality Florida has created a Go Fund Me campaign to raise money for the victims and family members affected by the mass shooting.
The campaign reads:
The amount of love and compassion felt around the world towards the victims and their families of the Pulse shooting is a testament to the incredible good is in the world. Thank you for your contributions.
We are currently working to raise as much as possible for these victims and their families, as well as distribute the fund as fast as possible. We have a team of attorneys and organizations who are experts in this process facilitating next steps. We will be setting up a hotline soon for all victims and their families to begin this process.
We currently do not know the total costs for all of the victims and families, and will continue to fundraise for these families in hopes of covering medical costs and funeral arrangements.
Thank you for supporting our Orlando community.
