J.K. Rowling has paid tribute to terror victim Luis Vielma, a theme park attendant who worked on a Harry Potter ride at Universal Orlando Resort.
The Harry Potter author tweeted her condolences on Monday morning, saying, "I can't stop crying," after learning about the death of the 22-year-old who operated the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride.
According to Newsweek, the Forbidden Journey ride was closed on Sunday out of respect to Vielma and his family and friends.
A Universal Orlando spokesperson told Newsweek, "We are deeply saddened over the loss of our team member. We are working to support his friends and colleagues here at Universal Orlando. Our thoughts and prayers are with Luis, his family, and all the victims of this tragedy."
A person who knew Vielma also tweeted at J.K. Rowling, telling her that one of Vielma's colleagues still remains in critical condition following the shooting.
