Melania Trump, I mean Laura Benanti, made an exclusive appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Melania Trump's speech at the RNC was a major controversy. It (not so subtlety) plagiarized from Michelle Obama's 2008 speech at the Democratic Convention. The controversy then started a trend of memes and videos poking fun at the situation.

Tony winner Laura Benanti made a hilarious impersonation of Melania Trump on the Late Show last night using a host of plagiarized lines, from the Fresh Prince theme song to the Kit Kat Bar jingle, to prove her innocence and viability as first lady.
Update: Melania Trump's speech writer just admitted she totally screwed up. And we thought Melania wrote it all herself...
