“We can change this now.”

During last night's pre-inauguration rally at Columbus Circle in NYC, Cher spoke out about the potential evils of a Donald Trump presidency and how to combat it.

"I'm an elitist lib-tard," she started, before labeling Trump as an "unbelievable narcissist who could change the face of our world." The singer, who has long offered vocal and staunch opposition to the now-president, implored the crowd to be vigilant.

"I've lived through 12 presidents," she said. "And never once did I dream there would be one through arrogance and ignorance who can change the face of our world."

She recalled how, during the Vietnam War, nothing changed until the people collectively took action. "The power of the people is bigger than those assholes that are there in Washington," she said, before remembering how defeated she felt on election night. But once she joined the streets protesting Trump, it lifted her. "Look, these people have come now, it's happening now," she said. "We can change this now." Watch, below.
