Milo Yiannopoulos Sang 'America the Beautiful' to Neo-Nazis Doing the Hitler Salute

It's just one detail in an explosive new Buzzfeed News report that confirms the gay provocateur is an awful, anti-Semetic mess.

Some people are literally the human embodiment of a dumpster fire, and then there's Milo Yiannopoulos. The gay darling of white supremacists--or the "alt-right" if you're feeling kind--is known for being a provocateur and a genuinely awful person, but an explosive new report on Buzzfeed News just confirmed it. In the piece, aptly titled "Here's How Breitbart and Milo Smuggled Nazi and White Nationalist Ideas into The Mainstream," Joseph Bernstein details all of the ways that Yiannopoulos upheld his reputation as an anti-Semitic mess.

In the most damning parts of the report, a video shows Yiannopoulos gleefully singing "America the Beautiful" at a white supremacist karaoke event while the crowd puts up the Nazi salute because, for Neo Nazis, it's not enough to just drunkenly sing "Small Town Girl" like a normal karaoke night. Of course, Yiannopoulos conveniently couldn't say anything about the Nazi salutes happening feet away from him because of "severe myopia" that made it impossible for him to see them.

One thing he can see, though, is his fingers typing out anti-Semitic computer passwords. One password, "LongKnives1290," is a reference to Hitler's purge known as "the Night of the Long Knives," and 1290, the year Jews were expelled from the Kingdom of England. Casual. Another password "began with the word Kristall" according to Allum Bokhari, one of the ghostwriters for Yiannopoulos. Kristallnacht was a 1938 riot against Jews carried out by Hitler.

Anti-Semitic passwords and the world's most racist karaoke night are just the tip of the white supremacist iceberg, though. Take some time to read the full report to confirm what you already know: Milo Yiannopoulos' actions are inexcusable.
