The director for the Centers for Disease Control is trying to ease tensions that arose after media reports that the health agency would be banned from using words like "fetus," "transgender," and "evidence-based" in official budget documents
CDC Director Brenda Fitzgerald tweeted Sunday that the agency would not let up on its commitment to educate and inform Americans about major health issues.
