Coachella Pickpocket Steals More Than 100 Phones from Attendees
While attendees at this year's Coachella music festival in California were taking in the sights and enjoying set lists of some of their favorite musicians, one New York man was stealing more than one hundred phones.
According to The Desert Sun, suspect Reinaldo De Jesus Henao was arrested by Indio police at the Empire Polo Club on suspicion of grand theft and possession of stolen property. After several festival attendees noticed their phones missing, they used the "Find My iPhone" app to track down the pickpocket. The most impressive feat is that Henao managed to time his thefts perfectly between the attendees making near-constant Instagram and Snapchat updates. Read the report from The Desert Sun, here.
