The LGBTQ icon is getting a well-deserved star next year.
Sissy dat walk, girls. Queen mother and drag extraordinaire RuPaul Charles has long since taken over Hollywood with her Emmy-award winning show RuPaul's Drag Race, but now her seat on the thrown has been cemented--literally.

Shantay, she'll stay on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame with her own star. Ahead of tonight's Drag Race finale that has had us in a panicked cold sweat for two weeks, Ru announced the news on Twitter, telling her followers that her "heart is beating so fast right now!"

Joining the LGBTQ icon next year for the induction to the most famous sidewalk in the world will be Mark Hamill, Lynda Carter, Jennifer Lawrence, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Kirsten Dunst. Since starting her career in the '80s, RuPaul has created a hit with his song "Supermodel," hosted The RuPaul Show on VH1, and created our favorite weekly obsession, Drag Race.
"The Committee looked carefully at each nominee and we feel that we have selected an eclectic group of talent that will appeal to the tastes of many fans around the world," Vin Di Bona, chairman of the selection committee announced.
Strap on those heels and work that Walk of Fame like it's the runway next year, girls.
