The White House just got a lot less spicy. In a shock announcement that made us audibly gay gasp, Sean Spicer has resigned from his position as Press Secretary after only six months in the position. According to sources within the White House, Spicer resigned in response to the president hiring Anthony Scaramucci, a Wall Street financier, as the communications director. Oh, and also because of the chaos that comes with twisting your moral compass into a pretzel to defend the man in the Oval Office.

While it's certainly sad that Spicer went out in such a blaze of glory and suffered through so much, the real tragedy is this--what will Melissa McCarthy do now? It was only days ago that she was nominated for an Emmy for her impeccable, master class impression of Spicer on SNL. Now we're going to be left in the cold, alone and jaded by the thought that we may never see her step into that ill-fitting suit again.
