Beyoncé Launches Hurricane Harvey Fundraiser for Short & Long-Term Needs

In response to the disastrous flooding in Houston, Texas from Hurricane Harvey, Beyonce has announced a major fundraiser to benefit her hometown for both the short and long term.
Through her BeyGOOD Foundation, Ms. Carter has partnered with Bread of Life and the Greater Houston Community Foundation, two organizations which "have been working with the displaced from the start of Hurricane Harvey's landfall."

Through these charitable efforts, immediately needed supplies will be purchased--food, cots, baby products, feminine products--as well as long-term rehabilitation for the city of Houston.
"Join us as the BeyGOOD team heads to Houston to continue our relief efforts on the ground," Beyonce's site explains. "We have teamed up with Bread of Life and Greater Houston Community Foundation, who have been working with the displaced from the start of Hurricane Harvey's landfall."
