Dazed teamed up with New York activist group The Illuminator for a new project called #AddressTheNation. Dazed and The Illuminator projected statements about the state of the United Kingdom onto government buildings like the Houses of Parliament, the Ministry of Justice, the Royal Courts of Justice, and Nelson's Column.

"We took issues that matter most to our readers and projected them into the skyline of London," wrote print features editor Jack Mills. "We address everything from [Prime Minister] Theresa May's crumbling Brexit plans to street-level abuse of trans people at London Pride."

This is another step in a worldwide activist movement with The Illuminator, a group that made headlines for its projections against President Donald Trump during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Also, the projections come days after the resignation of UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and Brexit Secretary David Davis as well as anti-trans protesters at London's Pride Parade.

Dazed said, "stay tuned for more" in its write-up of last night's events. In the meantime, check out the nine projections that lit up the London skyline below.
