Demi Lovato Has Reportedly Been Hospitalized for Alleged Drug Overdose
Update: As CNN reported, Demi is now stable. "Demi is awake and with her family, who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support," said the statement from Lovato's representative. "Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now."
Pop star Demi Lovato allegedly overdosed on heroin and was immediately treated, according to a report from TMZ.
The report said Lovato was given Narcan, which is used in narcotic-related emergencies.
Lovato has been open in the past about her addiction while in the spotlight, recounting abusing drugs like cocaine and alcohol. The singer recently revealed she's no longer sober through her song, "Sober."
