"Baiting," the porn theme of getting supposedly-straight men to have sex with another man, is popular in the gay community.
Most of the time, however, the baited men are fellow porn actors who are actually gay, bisexual, or gay for pay.
Apparently, not every time.
Last week, Bryan Deneumostier, 33, was arrested for allegedly blindfolding men and tricking them into making gay porn. He now faces five criminal charges in relation to his porn site StraightBoyz.
StraightBoyz has a similar premise to the popular site Bait Bus, where a man is blindfolded and told a woman will be giving him oral sex. In Bait Bus, the man takes off his blindfold, faking anger and confusion upon discovering it was a man providing oral sex, but then proceeds to have anal sex with the man for money.
Unlike Bait Bus, where it seems as if most of the videos are scripted and no one is actually duped, Deneumostier was allegedly lying to the men he brought over to his home. And whereas there is a whole "scene" in Bait Bus, there is no narrative in Straightboyz. The filming starts once the men are blindfolded/wearing goggles and ends upon ejaculation.
Police claim Deneumostier lured men to his home by posing as a bored housewife on Craigslist in Homestead, Florida.
When the men arrived at the home, they agreed to be blindfolded or wear blacked-out goggles. At that point, they're tied to a chair and given headphones to wear.
The Miami Heraldreports that many of the victims are believed to work at the nearby Homestead Reserve Air Base.
After having made over 600 videos, the site StraightBoyz is no longer available.
