Twinks4Trump Founder Dropped As Gateway Pundit White House Correspondent Following Appearance on White Nationalist Podcast

Twinks4Trump founder Lucian Wintrich has been dropped as Gateway Pundit White House Press Correspondent after appearing on a podcast hosted by self-described white nationalist Nicholas Fuentes.

On the podcast, Wintrich and Fuentes discussed supposed genetic difference between races, noting that the United States was "specifically saying we want the shittiest immigrants in the entire world to flood our country."

The Gateway Pundit is known for its political far-right views and tendencies to promote fake news and hoaxes. When Wintrich was granted a White House press pass in early 2017, he "threatened to upend the daily press briefings and scorned him a string of media profiles." Inviting a blog notoriously known to have little regard for facts to the press conference room felt like Trump's latest insult to real press.

Gateway Pundit is now claiming that the Twinks4Trump frontman's dismissal has been in the works for weeks.

Gateway Pundit chief Jim Hoft tweeted, "I'd like to wish Lucian Wintrich the best of luck and blessings on his next endeavor after leaving Gateway Pundit several weeks ago."
