The dating app aims to provide the safest platform for gay men to connect.
One of the quickest growing dating apps for gay men is Chappy. Having launched in 2017, the app provides a safe environment for online dating, letting users filter out "Mr. Right" from "Mr. Right Now" while implementing anti-discriminatory policies.
The app has just announced a major relaunch. With new headquarters in Manhattan, its undergone a new brand identity at the helm of a new management team. The six-month process has culminated in a use experience that reflects the app's mission and values.
Part of this new team is Sam Dumas, head of brand. He's spent the last four years at Conde Nast, leading experience marketing for Vanity Fair and W Magazine. He'll join co-founder, Max Cheremkhin in evolving the app's growth strategy, brand, and user experience. Backed by Bumble, Chappy continues to receive support from Bumble CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd and executive, Andrey Andreev.
"Much like Bumble, Chappy is committed to providing its users with a safe, welcoming and empowered experience, and that sets it apart from any other app in the gay dating space," says Wolfe Herd. "Chappy has been dedicated to investing in their users from day one, and with the current advancements in leadership, brand, and platform, Chappy can now achieve the potential we all know it's more than capable of realizing."
With the app's zero-tolerance policy for abuse and bullying, the brand and user experience is poised to create an empowering online community for gay men. Download and find more info at Chappy.
