33-year-old Bruno, who was also known on social media known as Garrett Travels (@garrett.travels), was reportedly found dead at his parents' home in Mount Dora, Florida on the evening of Tuesday, March 4.

At the time of his death, Bruno was out on bail after being arrested and charged with second degree murder in a car crash that left an 83-year-old woman dead.

According to NBC Los Angeles, Esther Abouab and her husband were driving near the intersection of Fountain and Spaulding Avenues in West Hollywood on October 10, 2024 when another driver crashed into them, pushing the couple's car into a parking garage. Abouab died at the scene and her husband was seriously injured.

Police identified Bruno as the driver of the second car and charged him with second degree murder and reckless driving.

A few weeks later, Bruno was in a scooter accident that left him in a coma. When police arrived at his house to arrest him, they learned he was in the hospital and waited until he was discharged. Bruno was eventually transferred to an L.A. jail, where he remained until he was let out on bail in January 2025.

Last year, Bruno also caused some controversy in the LGBTQ+ community as he publicly supported Donald Trump and JD Vance in their presidential campaign against Kamala Harris.
