Kaos, a contestant from Canada's Drag Race, was also involved in the accident.

A huge relief.

Morphine Love Dion — beloved drag queen and makeup magician introduced on RuPaul's Drag Race season 16 — was recently involved in a car accident during her time in Los Angeles to attend RuPaul's DragCon.

The car accident left Morphine with a fractured collarbone and a jaw injury. The injury was so severe it required surgery and led to the loss of several teeth. But in true Morphine style, she's handling it with grace and strength.

The Drag Race lip sync legend wrote in an Instagram story:

"First and foremost, I want [to] thank everyone for all the love and positive messages I have been receiving. As many of you know, last weekend, I was in a serious car accident suffering a fractured collarbone. I also broke my jaw in half for which I needed surgery to repair and lead to the loss of several teeth. I'm still a bit sad and traumatized but extremely grateful and happy to be alive."

She continued, "I am back in Miami focusing on my recovery. I will continue to post updates periodically and ask for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. I want to send a special thank you to WOW, MTV/ Paramount, my manager Natasha, and my closest friends for taking care of me and helping with my accommodations. You have been nothing but amazing to me."

"I love you all so so so much and hope to be back doing what I love very soon," Morphine concluded. "Los quiero mucho y hasta la próxima."

Morphine wasn't alone in the accident — Kaos, a contestant on Canada's Drag Race season 3, was also in the car. Kaos suffered a fractured collarbone, broken ribs, stitches, and a concussion that led to a seizure. Thankfully, we've now also gotten an update from the Canadian queen.

Kaos wrote:

"First off, I just want to thank everyone that has reached out with the kind and positive messages, it truly means a lot. As a lot of you already know I was in a serious car accident last weekend. I am now home resting with family and loved ones. I fractured my ribs, have some stitches, have a severe concussion as I hit my head which lead to me also having a seizure. This accident still has myself, Morphine, and our friends shook up so l will be taking some time off my phone to recover more and relax. I tried to get alittle back to normal this weekend but my body is obviously telling me I need more time."

Kaos added, "I want to thank World Of Wonder for taking such good care of me and Morphine and all our friends after the accident in L.A. From driving us around to the hospitals, check ups, and to grab food and whatever we needed and covering our stay as we heal. Also for the beautiful flowers, it's truly appreciated and we are so [grateful] for the love and support everyone has given us through this traumatic time. As Morphine mentioned, we are all [grateful] to be alive."

"Again thank you for all the love and support through this and I will be back to my normal self, gigs and drag once my body tells me I can!" Kaos concluded. "I also just want to say this doesn't change the fact the LA DragCon was still a blast and always will be!"

We can't wait to see Morphine and Kaos back on their feet and stunting harder than ever! Until then, we hope they can rest up and recover.

Wishing thema speedy and healthy recovery, so we see them back on the stage better than ever!
