Hello Out readers, it's officially Wicked day!

After all the waiting, the film version of Wicked is out in theaters now! Have you already seen it? Do you have plans today or this weekend? Have you already seen it more than once?

I got to see it earlier this week, and I was honestly blown away! I love the musical, so I had a lot of mixed feelings about this adaptation. Could Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo live up to Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel? Would it work as two seperate movies? Would anything live up to the legend of the Broaway production?

Honestly, the answer is a resounding yes!!! (We'll have to see if the second movie is as good as the first.

Wicked is one of the best movies I've seen in years. Ariana is spectacular as Glinda, Erivo is absolutely stunning and Elphaba, and the rest of the cast is exceptional. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I have a new favorite Elphaba.

Gayest Song of the Week

Now that the Wicked soundtrack is out, we can listen to the movie version of "What is This Feeling?" the classic hate song between Glinda and Elphaba where they sing "What is this feeling so sudden and new? I felt the moment I laid eyes on you. My pulse is rushing, my head is reeling, oh, what is this feeling?"

Comment of the Week

On our Instagram post about Wicked's other surprising cameo, @michael_l_hughes wrote "saw it last night. Two hours forty minutes flew by. No pun. An instant classic. A new favorite of all times. Both of them were phenomenal. It will get all the awards nominations. Stunning in every aspect."
