VideoOut wants to build the largest library of coming out stories to erase hate and remove stigma.
New York City-based nonprofit VideoOut aims to collect and organize user-submitted coming out videos. Founded in 2016 by Jordan Reeves, the company has already published 50 stories from the LGBTQ community, all spanning various experiences, ages, and backgrounds. "We're collecting the stories of real people who've lived in and overcome the stigma of a gender binary world," says Reeves.
