#GuysThatGive: Male Models Get Cut for a Good Cause
Photography: Roshaknie Hayes
Ammon Carver Studio, a hybrid hair and photography studio in New York's herstoric Chelsea gayborhood, rounded up some of the biggest and square-jawiest male models for their new #GuysThatGive campaign. The campaign benefits the studio's larger Walk the Walk intiaitive, a collective of hairdressers and nonprofits aiming to help their local communities and beyond--from haircuts for the homeless of NYC to providing educational tools to children in Mumbai.
"Inspired by Cristin Armstrong, head of our philanthropic efforts here at the studio and Manny Rolon, our creative director, we formed Walk the Walk Community in an effort to create a platform to help others," Ammon Carver Studio's founder and namesake told Out. "Our first group effort was providing backpacks full of school supplies to children in need in the Dharavi slums of Mumbai.
"Photographer Roshaknie Hayes and I came up with the idea of bringing awareness to Walk the Walk as well as raising funds by utilizing the models and clientele from the studio. What a better way to open peoples eyes!? Our trip to India was a huge success thanks to all of our fund raising efforts including #GuysThatGive."
