Jonathan Groff, Wayne Brady & more celebrity portraits from equalpride's Pride of Broadway cover party

The stars of Pride of Broadway were ready for their closeup!

Jonathan Groff and Wayne Brady — cover stars of Out and The Advocate, respectively — posed for the camera once again for photographer Matt Monath at a party celebrating their Pride issue launch.

Other LGBTQ+ stars also modeled for Monath, among them event hosts Sam Champion and Nina West, Michael James Scott (Aladdin), Miss Bouvèé, Plasma (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Rosé (RuPaul’s Drag Race), equalpride CEO Mark Berryhill, Jackie Cox (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Jay Valle (NBC Out), Tony Morrison (GLAAD), and Jelani Remy (The Lion King).

The party was held last Monday evening at Somewhere Nowhere NYC. There, West led a margarita toast of Groff and Brady with a little help from Hornitos, which brought out sparklers for the celebratory “marg mode” moment. In addition to Hornitos, sponsors of the event included Kargo, Discover, Tide, Downy, Vitamin Water, and Effen Vodka.
