Each year, OUT celebrates the best and brightest emerging LGBT design talent at the OUT Fashion Vanguard Awards. Now in its second year, the winner of the inaugural 2016 Fashion Vanguard Award, Andrew Morrison, saw his career ignite after being crowned at our gala event, and you could be next.

If you have the talent, drive and skill to create avant-garde fashions, OUT is here to help turn your dream into reality.

Here's how the whole thing works:

To enter, submit your portfolio of original design work or sketches on OUT.com before February 15th OR enter by posting and tagging your designs on Instagram or Twitter using #OUTFashionVanguard.

Once all submissions are received:

* Three finalists win a trip to Los Angeles for the OUT Fashion Vanguard Awards on March 30^th, 2017
* Each finalist will design and create a custom piece for the red carpet event, sharing their progress on OUT.com as the competition progresses
* Finalists will meet with our judging panel of fashion insiders to review their looks
* One lucky winner will be named the 2017 OUT Fashion Vanguard live on stage and have their collection featured in OUT Magazine!
