Delano Las Vegas is a sleek, modern hotel that's part of MGM Resorts International on the Mandalay Bay campus. Delano's luxurious suites feature floor to ceiling windows and stunning views of both the mountains and the strip. The light-filled rooms are perfectly decorated with white furniture, bedding, and an oversized tufted headboard, which makes the mornings feel ethereal and calm. There are just as many opportunities to play as there are to unwind in Delano's sophisticated ambiance, from the cabanas at the Delano Beach Club to the whirlpool at the Bathhouse Spa.

Where to Play:

1. Delano Beach Club

Located near the Mandalay Bay's famous wave pool, Delano guests can rent cabanas at the more private Delano Beach Club pool. Join the party for a game of oversized chess in the water or retreat for some privacy behind the cabana curtains. Light lunch bites, such as burgers and a refreshing watermelon salad, and a full bar complete with a variety of delicious frozen drinks make it tempting to spend the entire day at your cabana without having to move a muscle.

Kit's Take:

I loved the proximity to the pool, but I also have to be careful not to spend too much time in direct sunlight (I'm super pale), so having the cabana was the best of both worlds. We loved the frozen margaritas, as well as the Miami Vice, a cross between a pina colada and a strawberry daiquiri.

2. Bathhouse Spa

If you need to decompress and refresh, Delano's Bathhouse Spa is the perfect place to unwind. Relax in the eucalyptus steam room and oversized whirlpool, or take advantage of their world class massage and spa services. Get in a quick workout at the gym or slip into a comfortable spa robe in the relaxation lounge. Make sure to take in the spa's sleek design and high ceilings before you place those cucumber slices on your eyes.

Our couples massage was worlds removed from our past experiences (don't ask), and we left feeling energized and rejuvenated. The Bathhouse Spa is the height of luxury.
