Part 2: Out100 Honorees Vincint & Ronnie Woo Discuss Embodying This Year’s Out100 ‘Open Doors’ Theme

Honorees reflect on the individuals who have inspired them and on how coming out has opened doors for their community.

This is the second part of a two-part video series in honor of Out100. Check out the first part of the conversation here.

In Part 2 of 'Journey to the Out100,' musician Vincint and chef, author, and TV personality Ronnie Woo, two of Out’s honorees, make their way to the biggest event celebrating influential LGBTQ+ individuals. Seated in the spacious third-row of their Lexus TX, they share their thoughts on this year's Out100 theme, 'Open Doors,' and discuss who inspires them within the LGBTQ+ community.

In a candid moment, Vincint asks Ronnie, ‘Is there someone that will maybe be there tonight that has inspired you in our community?’ The celebrity chef reveals that the person who inspires him the most is his husband, sharing, 'He shows me grace, patience, and kindness that I’ve never experienced before.'

Vincint humorously adds, 'I would say my boyfriend does the same thing if he existed.’ But they do have many friends who are doing incredible and impactful things, and changing the narrative.

Ronnie Woo and Vincint are changing the narrative through their personal journeys of resilience and queer joy, serving as a testament to the profound influence that honorees like them can have on the betterment of the community. As they arrive at the Out100 event, they are brimming with excitement for the many more unforgettable memories and the important discussions to come.
