Launched in 2014, Red Hot has been aimed at one thing: serving up photos of hot red-headed men. It started as a book project, expanded into a traveling exhibition, and introduced a calendar. There's even an OnlyFans account now. All of this in an effort to "rebrand the ginger male stereotype" by depicting those with fire-colored locks as "sexy and desirable" We would have to say they've succeeded on that end.
Now the brand is planning to celebrate the world that its built with an All Stars version of its calendar -- watch out RuPaul! For the 2021 project founder and photographer Thomas Knights has shot 12 of the "most iconic superstars" from Red Hot's past with all the summer-y, beach-y vibes you can imagine -- shot "between London, New York and LA, mostly on friends roofs" Knights tells Out. "This calendar is going to be a little escape from reality," a description reads. It's also going to represents the brand's first foray into full-frontal nudity. How's that for your office date planner?
The calendar, as always, will give a portion of proceeds to charity. This year they've chosen Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation. Here, we preview what you can expect to see inside and ask its creator a few questions. You can also contribute to the Kickstarter to make sure this happens and secure your own copy alongside the perks. (Yes, the OnlyFans is a perk as well as branded underwear.)
Disclaimer: Sadly, these guys are not all queer.
It has brought some really amazing people into my life. I've made some of my best friends through doing this project, and been on a crazy journey with some of them!

Most people think all the models are gay because I shoot them in a homoerotic way, but only half of them are (as far as I know)

I think we have definitely stated our case. When I was growing up there were no ginger role models, now there are loads. We have played a part in that change but as long as kids that look different have a hard time, there is still work to be done.
