The drag staple Bushwig has come and gone again.
Founded by Brooklyn artists Horrorchata and Babes Trust just under a decade ago, Bushwig annually puts on a lineup of the who's who in drag. Though some big names may come for special performances -- we're talking about names like Azealia Banks this year -- it's the drag talent both on and off stage that remain as the heart of the event.
"Can you believe we have been kiki-ing for an entire decade?!" cofounder Horrorchata said in a release. The performer also got engaged on stage at the event this year. "In 2012 we had an idea for the queer future we wanted to see, and now you have helped to make it happen. So please, come join us for Bushwig 10. Dance, be free, get high, make love, and rejoice in togetherness with our big beautiful queer family. Everyone is welcome."
This year, photographer Bronson Farr was on hand at The Knockdown Center to shoot portraits of the drag talent. Scroll on to see his images.
